The theme for the 2023 Humanitarian Awards hosted by HumanKind, was entitled "Beyond Black and White" which encouraged guests to see beyond stereotypes of homelessness and poverty and recognize the unique stories of those HumanKind serves.
Throughout the event's marketing campaign, I took a creative and innovative approach to convey this powerful message. I designed and executed a one-of-a-kind boxed save-the-date, setting the tone for the event's theme. For the formal invitation, I designed a captivating and visually striking piece that demanded attention and curiosity. In the event program, I utilized optical illusions to cleverly reinforce the theme, prompting guests to delve deeper into the stories of the individuals served by HumanKind and encouraging guests to reevaluate their perceptions. 
By weaving the "Beyond Black and White" theme into every aspect of the event's branding, I ensured that attendees would not only be informed but also inspired to see beyond stereotypes and engage more compassionately with the stories of those in need in our city.
